We are delighted to announce that the City of Los Angeles will once again be presenting The Hollywood Christmas Parade on Sunday, November 25th.This year is the 81st anniversary of the parade, and we expect 2012 to be even better that past years! We look forward to your support and participation in this year's Hollywood Christmas Parade.

From the Heart of Hollywood! Starting on Hollywood Blvd at Orange, the U-shaped parade route will travel east to Vine, south on Vine to Sunset Boulevard and west on Sunset, back to Orange.

... I have always watched the Hollywood Christmas Parade. However in the past when the parade has been on it has been a huge disappointment. I love the way the parade was before all of these changes. For Example( having several performers singing one after another, not being able to hear the celebrities talk. Before when the cars would drive down the path they would stop and talk before they would drive down the street. Now watching the Parade it seems as though it goes by in such a big rush. It is as though it has lost the Christmas Feeling. |

... the parade was better than last year, but you need to get the Marines off Sanatas float, that is really inappropriate. |

... I love the parade and used to attend at times when I was living in LA (born/raised). Now I live in San Francisco and miss watching this. Its a shame that Hallmark and the parade creators cannot get it together to put the schedule, etc together to when this airs nationally. It's always a hunt around and see. This year I don't even see anything on there. We miss the parade and want to see it! |

Under the direction of alumni Chuck Jay, the Villa Park High School Marchin’ Spartans from Villa Park, California are frequent competitors throughout the southland. The Spartans’ are a crowd favorite and an award winning parade competitor. Part of a comprehensive music program, the Marchin’ Spartans bring high energy and great music to the parade. This marks their second consecutive year marching in the Hollywood Christmas Parade. The band received Sweepstakes honors at both the LA and Orange County Korean Days parades. |
